Recognize the single sign-on authentication screen

Authenticate is a transition screen in the single sign-on flow.

The page uses the pending sign-on request to authenticate and continue to its destination. It is not a general settings page or a place to enter an arbitrary destination.

If you reach this screen without starting sign-on, return to the service that initiated the request and use its sign-in entry point. The appearance of Authenticate alone does not confirm that sign-on has completed or that a redirect has succeeded.
