Cybooks' workflow system enables you to efficiently organize tasks into different stages or statuses, allowing for clear visibility and tracking of your project progress.

By default, Cybooks categorizes tasks into three main stages: not started, in progress, and completed. Within these stages, you have the flexibility to create and assign custom statuses to better fit your project’s specific needs.

By configuring multiple task statuses using the Workflows feature, you can more effectively filter and categorize your tasks, while breaking down your processes into as many detailed segments as required.

Each project can have its own unique workflow. For instance, you might choose a development workflow for one project and a design workflow for another, ensuring that each project is organized in a way that aligns with its specific requirements.

Accessing the Workflows

To create your custom workflow, navigate to Settings and select Workflows.

Setting Up a New Workflow

To create a new workflow, click on "Add workflow." You'll be asked to name your workflow and define the primary task statuses.

Statuses are organized into three main categories (stages):

  • Not started

  • In progress

  • Closed

Note: The default workflow includes only two task statuses: one for the "in progress" stage and one for the "closed" stage. You can customize this by adding more statuses or creating a completely new workflow from scratch.
