About tax rates
You can add and edit tax rates to match the rates required by the Cypriot Tax Department.
Tax rate display name
The tax rate display name identifies the tax rate in your chart of accounts and transactions. It only shows in Cybooks, and not on the invoices, quotes, or other documents you send from Cybooks.
We recommend including the rate's percentage in the name to help you to identify it.
Tax type
The tax type sets how transactions using the tax rate are included in your VAT return.
The available tax types are:
Sales
Purchases
Exempt Sales
Exempt Purchases
EU Sales Goods
EU Sales Services
EU Purchases
EU Acquisitions
Reverse Charge
MOSS Sales
