What happens each month
Your accountant follows the same process every month to keep your books accurate and up to date:
Collecting your data - We pull in transactions from your connected bank accounts and any documents you have uploaded.
Sorting and checking - Each transaction is reviewed and put in the right category. Your accountant makes sure the VAT is handled correctly for each one.
Making adjustments - If anything needs correcting, or if there are amounts that belong to a different period, your accountant sorts it out.
Final review - A second person on the team checks the work before your books are marked as done for the month.
How to check progress
The Concierge page in cybooks shows a timeline for each month of the year. Each month shows one of these statuses:
Tax-Ready - Done. Your books for this month are finalised and approved.
Books Reviewed - Your accountant has finished. A second person is checking the work.
In Progress - Your accountant is working on it.
Your Input Needed - We need something from you before we can continue. Check your requests for details.
